Obituary of Mary F. Farrell
Mary F. Farrell, 87, of Grafton, beloved wife of the late Charles D. "Chuck" Farrell, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Van Rensselaer Manor.
Born in Watertown, she was the daughter of the late Augustino and Louisa Sylvester Gonino.
Mrs. Farrell worked in the Payroll Department for Cluett, Peabody & Company in Troy.
Mary was a communicant of Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Grafton (formerly St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church). She was a member of the Grafton Historical Society and the Grafton Senior Center, which she enjoyed.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Farrell; devoted mother of Karen (John) Bryant, Suzanne (Gary) Kuczek and Charles "Butch" (Margie) Farrell, all of Grafton; sister of Sylvia (Joseph) Rooney of Eagle Mills, Anita (Roy) Morton of Frederick, MD, Joanne Wilder of Rochester and the late, Vincent Gonino who is survived by his wife Jean of NC; cherished grandmother of Leah (Michael) Mamone, Tarah and Benjamin (Sarah) Johnston, Dana Farrell, Casey (Nick) Snyder and Charles Farrell, Jr., adored great grandmother of Luke and Beck Snyder, Noah Johnston and Donovan Mamone. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snow Church (formerly St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church), 31 Owens Rd., Grafton, NY 12082 and to her Mass of Christian Burial which will follow beginning at 3:00 pm.
Burial will be held at a later date in the Grafton Center Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208, in memory of Mary F. Farrell.
