Obituary of Mary E. Puckett
Mary E. Puckett, 84, of Latham, formerly of Lansingburgh, beloved wife of the late Victor E. Puckett, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, James and Teresa.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Frederick J. and Evelyn M. Douglas Palso, Sr. and was a graduate of Troy High School.
Mrs. Puckett was a dedicated wife and mother.
Beloved mother of James “Jimmy” (Teresa “Terri”) Puckett, David (Heidi) Puckett and Pat St. Denis, cherished grandmother of Justin (Carolyn) Sr., Derek (Amanda), Sarah (Bryan), Matt (Kathy), Becky and Sabrina, adored great grandmother of Justin, Jr., Aubrey, Asher, Mason, Michael and several additional great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871. Please gather just inside the cemetery entrance on the right between 9:10 a.m. and 9:25 a.m. Military Honors will be provided for her beloved husband Victor that morning to begin the committal service at the cemetery.
The Puckett family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the New York State Police Troopers for escorting Mary and Victor to the Saratoga National Cemetery.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to Mary’s beloved charity; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959, in memory of Mary E. Puckett.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street and Fourth Avenue, Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182.
