Obituary of Carl P. Recore

Carl P. Recore, 64, of Brunswick, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by his family on Monday, October 31, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn in Albany.

Born in Malone, New York, he was the son of the late Hollis and Josephine Tulley Recore and was educated in the Troy public schools.

Carl had been a HVAC Technician employed by Dwight Heating & Cooling in Rensselaer and previously at Alltek Energy Systems in Waterford.

He enjoyed fishing. His hobbies and interests included shooting at the gun range and spending time with family. 

Carl was a member of the Brunswick Sportsmans Club. 

Carl was predeceased by his siblings; the late, Dennis J. Recore. Sr., the late Daniel (who is survived by his wife, Kathy) Recore and the late Rose Recore and his nephew and namesake, Carl P. Recore.

Carl is the beloved and favorite uncle of Tammy (Smalls) Recore, Michelle Recore, and Prakai Soule, great uncle of Tyana Joels, Dylenn Kenneth Daniel Fields, Malakhi Recore, Ayanna Caldwell, Shy’Leah Riggsbee, Aneishata Caldwell and Justice Riggsbee, great great uncle of Ny’Mir Cancer, whom he absolutely adored. Also survived by a host of several other nieces and nephews. 

In keeping with Carl’s wishes, private funeral services have been entrusted to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue, (Corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, New York 12182.

There are no public calling hours or services.

Carl will be laid to rest in the family plot at Memory Garden Cemetery and Memorial Park, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, New York 12211.

Carl’s family wishes to express their gratitude to longtime family friends Bonnie and Paradise Hudson as well as to St Peter’s Community Hospice Care.
