Obituary of Anthony G. Cipriani
Anthony Guido “Tony” Cipriani, 50, of Cobleskill and formerly of Troy, was suddenly and unexpectedly stricken at home and entered into eternal life, on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Bassett Hospital in Cobleskill.
Born in Troy, New York, Anthony is the son of Carl M. “Chip” Cipriani and the late Susann E. “Sue” Patti Cipriani and was a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 1991. He was also predeceased by a brother Michael Cipriani.
Anthony was employed at the Albany International Airport in Colonie and had also worked with his and for his father at Roofscan, Inc.
Tony loved his family and children above everything. He also loved his dogs, his goats, all aspects of the outdoors, riding his side by side and ATV and to travel. Tony was extremely proud of Kim, Nick and Madison as well as of all of his nieces and nephews.
Tony was a member and had recently been elected to serve, beginning January 2023 as the President and Chair of the United Transportation Union at Albany International Airport. He also served in many capacities at South Troy Little League and had been a communicant of the former St. William’s Church in Troy.
Beloved husband of Karen L. Richardson Bianco, loving son of Carl “Chip”, devoted father of Kimberly (Matt Foldi) Cipriani, Nicholas Cipriani and Madison Bianco (Cody Mills), loving brother of David (fiancé Sabrina Yetto) Cipriani, adored grandfather of Aiden and Christopher Foldi, brother-in-law of Michelle (Brian Lutz) Cipriani, also survived by his dear nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, their families and his friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 for Calling Hours on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and to his Celebration of Life service which will follow at 7:00 p.m.
