Obituary of Patricia A. Smith

Patricia A. Smith, 80, of Vosburgh Road, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Feb. 1, 2023 at Saratoga Hospital after a long illness.  She was born on March 6, 1942 in Glens Falls, NY and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alberta Arcuri.  She was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School in Albany and was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Smith, Jr. whom she married on March 31, 1969.  She had retired from Empire BlueCross/Blue Shield Insurance Co. in Albany.  Patricia also worked for Albany Medical Center in sterile supply.  She enjoyed word search books, her dogs and cats, camping and taking her Sunday drives with Bob. Most recently She enjoyed her summer with Family and friends on loon lake.

She is the devoted mother of Brian P. (Rebecca) Smith of Ballston Spa, NY; sister of the late Joseph Arcuri, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Leanne, Briana and Kirsten Smith; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

A calling hour will precede the service from 10-11 am in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont.
