Obituary of Joshua Ian Evans

Joshua Ian Evans, 21, of North Greenbush, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Born in Schenectady to Johanna T. Torres of Troy and Gary P. Evans, Jr. of North Greenbush, Josh was educated at Troy High School. Josh was a member of C.AO. Productions and was also employed at The Franklin Plaza Ballroom in Troy. Josh loved being a Dad to his three children; Joshua I. Evans, Jr., Aubrey L. Evans and Kaidon M. Evans. Beloved son of Johanna T. Scudder-Torres and Gary P. Evans, Jr., devoted father of Joshua, Jr., Aubrey and Kaidon, loving brother of Jenna M. Torres, Jeffrey L. Scudder, Javun A. Scudder and Julian A. Evans, adored grandson of Charlene (the late Gary P.) Evans, Sr. and Carmen Gomez-Gonzalez and the late Jose Torres. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
