Obituary of Linda T. Minchello

Linda T. Minchello, 75 of Lansingburgh, formerly of Cohoes, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Born and educated in Cohoes, New York, she was the daughter of the late Henry Heroux and the late Lillian Hamel Heroux Simpkin (late, Tom Simpkin).

Linda had been employed caring for the residents at the Van Rensselaer Manor in North Greenbush (Troy).

Linda was the beloved mother of Tina (Michael) Griffin of Woburn, MA, Lisa Corey of Watervliet and the late Crystal Lynne Harris-Keefe, cherished grandmother of William Hilliard, Nicholas, Ryan and Steven Chillemi, adored great grandmother of Aubree Rose Hilliard, sister of the Kathleen Nikolas and the late Carol Heroux, half sister of Joseph Simpkin, loving Aunt of John, Jacob and Jason Ogden.

She loved her friends and the camaraderie of those who she enjoyed living with at the Kane Apts. in Lansingburgh and was their Bingo numbers caller. She was a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh and a member of their Sacred Heart Sodality.

Relatives and friends are invited to both her Visitation which will be held at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY, 12182 on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and to her Mass of Christian Burial that morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh.
