Obituary of Luella Mae Richards
LUELLA MAE RICHARDS
Luella Mae Richards, 101, formerly of 13th Street, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
Born and raised in West Lebanon, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Flora Esther Reed French and was educated in the West Lebanon School.
Mrs. Richards resided in Yonkers, NY, Springfield, MA, Waterbury, CT, Stephentown, NY and moved to Troy in 1962.
She worked at the Golden Crust Bakery in Cohoes and the Colonial Restaurant in Lansingburgh until her retirement. While residing in Stephentown from 1947 to 1962, she and her husband ran Richard's Upholstery and Slip Covers.
She was a member of the Lake Avenue Community Church in Averill Park.
Mother of Donald French (Sandra) of Mechanicville, Glen O. Richards, Jr. (Pat)
of Vienna, VA, Arthur L. Richards (Deborah) of Glenville, and Robert L. Richards (Teresa) of Brunswick, step-mother of Brent Richards (Charlotte) of Herriman, UT, also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all of her siblings. She was predeceased by a daughter, Luella Marie Richards and a son, Charles Richards, who is survived by his wife Patricia.
Funeral service will be held from the Loudonville Community Church, 374 Loudon Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 on Monday at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be held in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick Street, Troy, NY 12180.
