CELEBRATION OF CAROL'S LIFE
BURIAL SERVICE
Obituary of Carol M. DiLallo
Carol Millard DiLallo, 75, formerly of Clifton Park, NY, beloved wife of the late Gary Allen DiLallo, peacefully entered into eternal life on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. She was surrounded by family and song in her passing.
Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Beebe Millard. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Potsdam and her Masters from the University at Albany.
Carol was generous of herself, dedicating 38 years teaching in the Burnt Hills/Ballston Lake School District. She had a passion for youth education and development, spending many years involved in both Boy and Girl Scouts, and Vacation Bible School, outside her role as an elementary school teacher. She had a strong Christian faith and was deeply engaged in many committees and ministries at Jonesville United Methodist Church. She lovingly referred to her “Jonesville Family” as an extension of her own.
Above all, Carol cherished her relationships with her family and her friends. She kept up with her many dear friends throughout her life; there was scarcely a time when you did not receive a phone call or a handwritten note from Carol. Later in life, Carol was able to reignite her enthusiasm for travel, visiting many places domestically and internationally with her husband Gary.
Carol is survived by her beloved sister, Janet (Millard) Silloway and children, Kenneth DiLallo, Andrew DiLallo and Christine (David Huftalen, Jr) DiLallo; cherished grandmother of Madison Rose DiLallo, David Huftalen, III, and Harrison James Huftalen, and many more beloved family members including nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Celebration of Carol’s Life on Saturday June 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jonesville United Methodist Church, 963 Main St., Clifton Park, NY 12065 (livestream available at jonesvilleumc.org) followed by her burial service in the Jonesville Cemetery and a fellowship reception.
In lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations to be made to Young Life, a Christian youth organization, on-line at https://foundation.younglife.org/give/ in Carol’s honor.
