So many great memories of having Tommy as a neighbor. Swimming down in the river. hunting out back and down on the tracks. Pizza and soda at the village tavern. Ok ok he always got beer somehow. It was always an adventure when with Tom. I’ll never forget him

My heart broke when I heard this sad news. When I think of Tommy I think of his quick wit and smile. Also that he never failed to have a kind word or support when someone was in need of just that!

Q: What was Thomas like as a child?
A: I have so many funny memories as a child with Tommy. He was always smiling and making me laugh, and while I was the little cousin, he always let me join in on whatever mischievous adventure he was up to. Typically using me as a look out for the grown ups. I smile every time I think of how his head would tilt to the side just a bit when he was trying to charm his way out of getting in trouble. My Dad and Mom always easily let him escape a lecture because he was so lovable.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to all of you. Tom was an old friend from the Valley, but he was also a caring, giving member of this community. He painted basketball lines on our driveway for our son during the pandemic. He did so for many families, offering his services free of charge to any kids playing basketball in the Hoosic Valley School District. A huge loss for so many. Sending prayers for comfort and peace.

Q: What was Thomas like as a child?
A: I remember mom telling me that when I was born, Jr would sit next to me and hold my little fingers. Jr, also couldn't pronounce my name so he started calling me sissy, which to this day, my aunt and cousin still call me. I'll always remember that and all the good times we shared over the years. Rest easy brother. I will miss you.
