Obituary of Lewis F. Galick

Lewis F. Galick, 84, a longtime Clifton Park resident, passed away suddenly at Schuyler Ridge Residential Health Care Center in Clifton Park on Thursday June 22, 2023. He was born on February 24, 1939 in Ticonderoga, NY and was the son of the late Lewis F. and Eva Slater Galick. Lewis retired as a welder and assembler for the GE in Schenectady after 38 years of service. 

He was married to the love of his life, Irma K. Oddy Galick, whom he married on Oct. 8, 1962. “She was a good wife, a good mother and a good cook”. Lewis was known for always saying this about his Irma.

He is the devoted father of Lewis F. Galick, III of Malta, NY and Steven A. (Rebecca) Galick of Clifton Park, NY; brother of William Galick and Patricia Stusinski; grandfather of Logan, Parker, Emily and Steven; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 3-5 pm Thursday June 29^th in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Following calling hours, the family is having a reception at the home on Grooms Road in Clifton Park.
