Obituary of Kenneth C. Messier

Kenneth C. “KC” Messier, 76 of Lape Road passed away peacefully on Saturday August 12, 2023 at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on March 8, 1947 in Troy, NY and was the son of the late Kenneth J. and Marguerite Downey Messier. Ken graduated from Shenendehowa High School and was a US Navy veteran serving honorably. He had been the owner of Ken’s Kustom Kar Kare (KKKK) in Halfmoon for over 35 years. One of the area’s finest Collision repair shops. He loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Halfmoon American Legion Post 1450.

He is the beloved husband of Ann D. Federico Messier, whom he married on Oct. 21, 1961; devoted father of Kenneth S. Messier, Stephen M. (Amy) Messier and Shawn C. (Valerie) Messier; dear brother of George Messier and the cherished grandfather of Zachary, Erica, Julia and Leah Messier; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
