Obituary of Kevin J. Guthorn

KEVIN J. GUTHORN

April 11, 1960 - August 16, 2023

Kevin J. Guthorn, 63, of Stillwater passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the loving son of Robert J. and Marguerite M. Guthorn. When he was young, his family relocated to Niskayuna, and later moved to Clifton Park. Kevin graduated from Shenendehowa High School in 1978 and New York State Maritime College in 1982. He had been an electrical engineer for GE in Schenectady for over 15 years. Kevin had a good heart and was loved by his family and friends. He was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. 

He was predeceased by his parents and younger brother, Mark Guthorn. He is survived by his brother, Robert B. Guthorn (Diane); sister, Karen Thomas (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Robert A. (Andrea), Andrew, Rachel, and Sierra; great-nieces and nephews, Jack, Derek, Quinn and Claire.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 10:30 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2001 US-9, Round Lake, NY 12151.

The Knights of Columbus, Corpus Christi  Council will have a prayer service at 10:15 am prior to the mass for their departed brother.
