BARBARA E. LOWE
Barbara E. “Barb” Wynn Lowe, 68, of Troy, entered into eternal life surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Katherine Lomax Wynn and the late Samuel Wynn. She was a graduate of Troy High School.
Ms. Lowe retired from the New York State Department of Corrections (Corcraft Industries) in Menands. She had also held employment previously with the New York State Department of Labor.
She loved baking, cooking, crafting, holiday decorating and entertaining. She shared with her family a love of listening and dancing to music, storytelling, and watching films.
Devoted mother of Milton D. Lowe, Jr., Eric C. (Sarah Sharpe) Lowe and, sister of Clarence (Lillie) Lomax, cherished grandmother of Adelaide Celine Sharpe-Lowe, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to the Home Going Service that morning at 11:00 a.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.
