TANEISHA C. ROBESTON HARRIS
On Saturday Oct. 28, 2023, Taneisha C Robeston – Harris peacefully entered eternal life surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 11, 1974, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, NY. Daughter Of Linda Robeston and the late Robin K Richards, Sr.
Taneisha graduated from Troy High School in 1992. Upon graduation she went into the U.S. Army from 1992-1993 as a Private First Class and was awarded the Army Service Ribbon.
Ms Harris was employed as a Filings Examiner for more than 16 years at the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (formerly known as JCOPE) Albany, NY.
Taneisha was a Member of the International Masons and Order of Eastern Star. She served as the Church Clerk at Bethel Baptist Church in Troy, NY., and a member of the Susie B. Lambert Missionary Society. Taneisha was also a member of the Troy Police Review Board.
Her Hobbies included Traveling, Entertaining family at home, Church activities, Art, Shopping and an Avid Reader., (Netflix Binge watcher).
She leaves to mourn her mother, Linda, loving sons Rasheed A. Quddus (aka Quddus), Jevon K. Harris (aka Jay), Ne’seir X. Harris (aka Nye), two brothers Jamal K. Grate (aka Charlie Brown) Robin K. Richards Jr, her three loving grandchildren Lennox J Harris, Niko R Harris, Leighlani N Harris. Also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and all Relatives and Beloved Friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Ave., Troy, NY. Viewing 9am -10am. Followed the Celebration of Life.
Interment will be held at Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy, NY.
Repass will be held at the Polish American Club Inc., 507 1ST Street, Troy, NY.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.
