Obituary of Diane Mary Maney-Kelleher

Diane Mary Maney – Kelleher, 69, of McChesney Avenue in Troy, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday Nov. 16, 2023 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on July 2, 1954 in Troy and was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Maney and Joan M. Brierly - Maney.

Most important to Diane was her family and friends.  She was known for her remarkable kindness to people and animals alike.  She had a special love for her niece and nephew, Nicholas Planeta and Kasey Ellis.  She is the beloved mother of C.W. Kelleher (Troy Allen Fansler) of Naples, FL and Troy, NY.

She leaves behind her beloved siblings Kathleen M. (Thomas) Connors of Medfield MA and Michael Thomas (Cheyenne) Maney of Saratoga Springs and the late Eileen R. Maney and  Linda Ann Maney;  loving aunt of Madelyn Klein, Griffin Klein, Gwendolyn Klein, Nicholas (Alyssa) Planeta and Kasey (Shawn) Ellis;  great aunt of Mila, Emme and Jack Planeta. She also leaves behind her dear friend, Matthew Barnes.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 9:30 am in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. 565 4^th Avenue Troy, NY 12182 (corner of 115^th Street & 4^th Avenue Lansingburgh)

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.
