CARRIE M. LAMERE WHITING

Carrie Marie LaMere Whiting, 54, of Cohoes and formerly of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Samaritan Hospital.

Born, raised and educated in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Shirley Bloom Whiting.

Carrie was her four children’s #1 advocate and fan. She tirelessly did everything and anything that she could for them no matter the lengths that she would have to go.

She loved taking walks and bringing her granddaughter Lily to the park.

Her hobbies and interests included rescuing animals.

Carrie had been employed at Vliet Mart in Cohoes as Sales Clerk and held various retail and fast-food positions over the years.

Carrie is survived by her four loving children; Brandon (Joanne) LaMere, Christopher L.

(Sarah Garner) LaMere, Jr., Dillan (Kayla Grugan) LaMere and Caitlinn LaMere who are survived by their father Christopher L. (Lauren) LaMere, Sr., dear companion; Robert Yerry, siblings; William Whiting, David Whiting, Sherri Whiting and Cindy Cusson, her adored grandchildren; Kadence, Gillian, Isabell, Emmy, Lily, Hanna and Olivia, also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson; Frederick Roy LaMere.

Relatives and friends are invited to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 for memorial visitation on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. followed by her Funeral Service to include Reflections which will begin at 3:00 p.m.
