Obituary of Yvonne Couch
Yvonne Johnson Couch, 87, of Colonie and formerly of Malta, beloved wife for over 64 years of the late George E. Couch, Jr., peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Born in Topeka, KS, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Theresa Rouviere Johnson and was a graduate of Topeka High School.
After raising their four daughters, Yvonne had been employed by the Niskayuna Central School District as a School Bus Driver which she immensely enjoyed.
Yvonne most enjoyed quality time with her family, whether it was with them at one of their homes, at her home and when traveling. Yvonne and George enjoyed tennis and curling, but most of all, the memorable times which they spent with their family. In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, Yvonne will be most remembered for her strength, perseverance, and loving nature. She accepted all individuals, equally into her heart and her home.
