Obituary of Lucille D. Spencer

Lucille D. Spencer, 89, of Lansingburgh and formerly of Brunswick, peacefully entered into eternal life in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

Born in Waterford, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Eveline Le Brun Devine and was the beloved wife of Robert W. Spencer, Sr. She was a graduate of Watervliet High School.

Lucille had been a Real Estate Agent with HEER REALTY in Troy and was self employed as a Property Manager, at one time managing 22 units. She was also previously employed by the NYS Division for Youth in Albany.

Devoted mother of Robert W. Spencer, Jr. and Keith J. Spencer, mother-in-law of Robbin Roarke Spencer,

sister of the late Joan Pelletier, cherished grandmother of Jacob Taylor Spencer, Meaghan Elizabeth Spencer “The Entertainer”, and Marshall Wayne VanBuren;  loving aunt of Terri Pelletier, Jack Pelletier, and the late Eugene Pelletier, Jr.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.

The Spencer family would like to express their most sincere appreciation to Maria from Community Care Hospice of Rensselaer for Lucille’s care.
