Lost my dad. He chose to be my dad when he didn't have to.I had three fathers, but he was my only dad.A dad is a man that disciplines you, teaches you things, gives you hugs and kisses, gives you constructive criticism, encourages you, plays with you, talks to you, makes you laugh and laughs with you,,takes/ drives you places, makes sure your taken care of,spends quality time with you.But also disagree/ argue with;we didn't always see eye to eye.No matter what I always loved my dad.He was my rock and the rock of the family. He was the best dad that I could ever have.He also taught me how a man should treat a woman. He was so good to my mom.He would buy or make or do things for her "just because." My parents were together for 59-60 years and married for 58.He wasn't just my mom's husband and dad of her children,he was also her best friend and soul mate. Even though I didn't see or spend as much time as I should've with him,I always loved him and looked up to him. He always made corny dad jokes and made people feel comfortable and welcome(like family) when they came over my parents house. He also was friendly to just about everyone he met. The last thing we said to each other was,"I love you!"❣️ He was my provider,my rock,my role model,my dad. I will miss him terribly! To anyone reading this if you love someone let them know, forgive that person, ask for forgiveness,if you can fix that relationship, because you just never know.... My dad is in Heaven now. Rip dad(3/13/1945-12/29/2023).Love you lots and lots!

Dear Linda,
I think I've only visited with you once since we graduated from H.S, when you were visiting your parents and I was on a college break.
I've loved keeping tabs on you through FB. You created such a beautiful family and were part of a lasting marriage.
Condolences to you as you grieve and recover from this loss.
Best,
Diana (Dragoon)

Linda and family,
I am so deeply saddened by Doug passing. It seems like we are losing so many old and dear friends lately. I was just looking at photos of us at Diane and Jakes New Years Eve party so many years ago!! We had such fun days at HVCC and first few years of babies and family. You know I love you and Doug even with all passing years. Bless you all and may he and Roger look down on us and laugh too at all the good times we had. Barb
