Obituary of George V. Frisino
George V. Frisino, 87, beloved husband of Joyce Frisino, entered into eternal life at the Eddy Village Green on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Born in Valley Falls, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Eleanor Abatto Frisino.
George was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was employed with Cibro Petroleum and Gas Supply Resources, both in Albany, NY.
George enjoyed woodworking and small engine repair. He also enjoyed camping with his family and in later years traveling with Joyce. George was an avid Civil War enthusiast. He especially enjoyed the music of the 77th NY Regimental Balladeers, who played Civil War Era music.
Beloved husband of Joyce Hunt Frisino, devoted father of Nicole "Nikki" (Mark) Hankle, and Anthony "Tony" (Heather) Frisino; brother of Eleanor Clum and the late Harry, Leo, Frank, Albert and Rocca Frisino; cherished grandfather of Amber (Derik Thurston) St. Gelais, Bianca (Sean) Lipinski, Alec Hankle and Darrick Hankle; great grandfather of Mia, lvy and Mark, also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., (Corner of 115th Street and Fourth Avenue, Lansingburgh).
Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
Spring Inurnment will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Schaghticoke.
ln lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made to the Community Hospice Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208, in memory of George Frisino.
