Obituary of Karl E. Ladner
Karl E. Ladner, 69, of Ballston Spa, passed away peacefully , after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 with his beloved wife Bonnie by his side.
Karl graduated from Old Saybrook High School in Connecticut.
He was employed by Electric Boat, General Dynamics where he worked in Groton, Connecticut and at the Kesselring site in New York. He worked at Eurofins Environmental Testing in Albany, New York before retiring.
Karl loved fishing, the Saratoga Racecourse, traveling and cooked up the best holiday meals that were greatly enjoyed by family.
Karl is the son of the late Alfred and Estella Flint Ladner.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Verleger Ladner, brother Thomas (Pam) Ladner of Orlando, FL, brother James (Angela) Ladner of Old Saybrook, CT, sister Laurie (Bobby) Huffman of Melbourne, FL and was predeceased by his brother Alan Ladner who was from Old Saybrook, CT. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and great nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Numan Rashid and Dr. Xiao Su, along with their staff, for all the outstanding care given to Karl.
Karl has requested no services be held but there will be a Celebration of His Life held at a later date.
