Obituary of Paula M. Stants

Paula M. Stants, 67, of Niskayuna, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at her residence. She was born on Nov. 13, 1956 in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Josephine Ryan Collins. Paula was a graduate of Niskayuna High School and Niagara University, where she received her registered nursing degree. She had worked for Ellis Hospital, St. Peter’s and the Belleview Maternity Hospitals. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of various quilting clubs.

She is the wife of James R. Stants; mother of Christine Bechwith (Timothy) and Lauren Walsh (Gregory); sister of Donald Collins (Linda), Richard Collins (Anne), Stephen Collins (Pamela), Diane Palese (Daniel), Kathleen Perrone (Ralph) and Jean Luniewski (Alex); grandmother of Sylvie Walsh; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at the convenience of the family from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
