Obituary of Patricia Tanner
Patricia Tanner, 75, born in Troy NY and lived most of her early years in Center Brunswick NY, entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at The Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy.
She was the daughter of the late William Frederick “Fred” and Mary Therriault Tanner. She was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and Cobleskill Community College where she studied Food Service Management. After graduating she moved to Massachusetts to start her career.
She was the Director of Integrated Support Services at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury CT and moved to Windsor CT, to work for Sodexho continuing the same title.
Pat enjoyed golfing, taking afternoon walks and spending time with her family. Although Pat did not have children of her own she helped raise and loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Pat loved to attend sporting events and activities involving her nieces and nephews. She was an avid fan of the UCONN women's Basketball team and Women's Ice Skating.
Devoted sister of the late Annellen (late John) Schultz, Mary Lou (Richard) Durant, Adele (Gary) Roth, William F. Tanner, Jr., Barbara Hebert (late Richard), Susan (Mario) Manzi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Rite of Committal on Thursday May 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 2501 Troy-Schenectady Rd., Niskayuna, NY 12309.
