Obituary of Heather Ann Strozyk
Dateline: Ballston Lake, New York
Heather Ann Strozyk, 54, of Ballston Lake, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at her home. She was born on April 6, 1970 in Albany and was the daughter of Donna Ladue Cree of Ballston Lake and the late Richard Cree. She was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School class of 1988 and moved on to earn two degrees – one in Hospitality & Restaurant Management, and the other in Business Administration. Heather had been a real estate agent for, the former, Realty USA, now Howard Hanna in Clifton Park. She was also self-employed. However, her favorite job was being a mother.
Heather enjoyed traveling – anywhere with an ocean was her favorite, including many family vacations in Wildwood and Florida. She spent her college internship working as a lifeguard at the Grand Floridian in Lake Buena Vista, Florida where she met many celebrities such as Tom Cruise and Kevin Costner.
She also enjoyed cooking – she had many specialties, but no one can top her Chicken Cacciatore. For a short time in the early 90’s, she had her own business venture called “Dinners Done” where she would prepare and deliver meals to her clients.
She loved watching Wheel of Fortune every night, and Lifetime movies on Sundays. Her favorite was football (Lets Go Buffalo!).
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her beloved daughter, Jodi Nobile of Galway, NY; her dear sister, Maureen Livingston; nieces Anna & Catelyn; nephew Noah; aunts, uncles, cousins, her cat Binx, her grand-puppy Hank, and many friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 28th from 3-5 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
