My heart is broken to hear about Jackson. We went to high school together, and I always loved and adored him. He was such a great person and a joy to be around, he was so talented and I regret not reaching out more to let him know I was thinking of him. I also wish I went to one of his art shows. Sending love to his whole family. I wish I got to see him one last time.

We are deeply saddened by Jackson's passing. Although not in touch for some time, we have many great memories of him from your time in Croton. Jackson and Brian became good friends and he was at our house often. They shared Camp Hilltop together, some sleepovers, Baseball several summers, Basketball in the driveway with the Croton boys constantly, whatever the season. Many happy memories. For all of his winning attributes Jackson maintained such a calm, almost modest countenance whatever the situation. Please know that we feel this loss and that you have our love and sympathy. Take care. Chris and Teri

I knew Jackson as a child in Croton on Hudson NY. He was always kind to others even when unnecessary, he went out of his way to pick you up. I played basketball with him and always remembered him being able to make everyone laugh and come together after some slight was thrown between boys. He was a unifying presence I look back on fondly recalling those awkward years of childhood. He will be missed, yet I certainly expect that he has given great joy-filled memories to last for those members of his surviving family.

Jackson began as a friend of a friend, but when he welcomed me into his Tulane home, he became a friend of mine. Nobody ever had a bad thing to say about Jackson. I did not get to spend nearly as much time with him as I would've liked, and I feel for those closest to him. The world feels significantly less full since I heard the news.
