My heartfelt condolences to the entire DeSantis family. Well, actually everyone who knew Carolyn since she was the warmest and most loving person around. I have such sweet memories of being with everyone in both Lyndhurst and Clifton Park houses with all my cousins whether a birthday party or celebration. Family love was always visible and the more made for the merrier. Acts of faith by Carolyn and family was always something special, and I loved when a milestone was celebrated. For me it was something to look up to aspiring. A shining example for all. I remember Carolyn saying marriage was 100%-100%! Andrew and Carolyn were a perfect pair.
I was saddened to know she was afflicted in the last years as it was out of character for her. Not the usual active bubbly Carolyn. But now her Soul is released from her earthly vessel, and she’s free to do God’s will as another heavenly angel. That family party up there must really be something and the card table grows larger. Here’s to Carolyn attaining her heavenly afterlife. Blessing. ❤️❤️❤️ Amen and so it is ❤️

We met the DeSantis family through our children who attended St. Vincent de Paul School in Elma. We lived a block away from their home on Colony Court. Our families spent enjoyable summer days by their pool and around their kitchen table. Carolyn was always a kind and gracious hostess. I loved sitting with Carolyn in their living room while we listened to Christina play the piano.
Larry and I especially enjoyed the card games with the Carolyn, Andy, Mary Ann, Bob, Marty and Ken.
Carolyn introduced some women of our parish to the Bishop's Committee....a Catholic women's discussion group. The group continues to this day where lifelong friendships have been made and our faith has been nurtured.
The last time we saw Carolyn was a day spent at the Saratoga races. We didn't win any races, but we did create a beautiful memory! What more could we ask for??
