Obituary of Richard J. Scepkowski, Jr.

Richard J. “Rit” Scepkowski Jr., 55, of Turnbull Street, entered into a eternal life on June 17, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 25, 1961 in Albany, New York, the son of Linda Cox Alden and the late Richard J Scepkowski Sr.

Rit attended Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady and was employed as a TSA agent at the Albany County airport for the Department of Homeland Security, until retiring due to illness.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Robin Roca Scepkowski; his daughter, Vanessa (Jake) Scepkowski; his son, Joseph (Haley) Scepkowski and daughter, Aminah Scepkowski; his brothers and sisters, Cathy (Conrad) Nagel, Deborah (Paul) Gabriel, Cynthia (Joe) Gonzalez, Christopher Scepkowski, Curtis (Victoria Thibodeau) Scepkowski the late Robert J Scepkowski.

Also survived by several nieces nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
