To the Daughters and families of Larry,
I send my prayers and condolences.Larry and I were classmates and teammates at St. Augustine's and LaSalle. When he and his family moved to Lansingburg, we lived about a half block apart on Fifth Ave. We spent much time at each other's home and always felt welcome.

How sad! Larry was such a great athlete and it was a great joy to see him in action. I was lucky to be a class mate both at LSI and ND and to see his basketball skills in action over several years, culminating in becoming an All American Athlete!
We were very happy that he was able to join us at our 50th LSI reunion. Although in pain and with a neck brace, he not only joined us but also made a presentation at the reunion.
He will be missed! Our condolences and prayers go out to his family.
Sincerely, Terry Valenti

Larry was a wonderful young man, as well as a fine basketball player. He was two years older than me and graduated from La Salle before I did, but I still remember watching him play basketball and my amazement at his ball handling and shooting prowess., which were, in my opinion , at a professional level. My sincere condolences to his family and close friends. Larry Powers, La Salle Institute, Class of 1964

Larry and I were good friends at La Salle. He was a fun loving young man and always concerned about his buddies and fellow classmates. A great basketball player who could hit the deep jumper and slashing to the hoop. Always at his best when playing against Catholic Central, CBA and VI. Rest in peace Larry.

His passing saddened the hearts of people he didn't even know; people like me. He will live eternally in heaven and in his loved ones hearts'. One day there will be no more tears, there will be no more pain or sadness. In the meantime, let the memories flow and the love echo.
