Obituary of Karol K. Cano

Karol Katherine Cano, 71 of Mechanicville, passed away on Friday Dec. 27, 2024 at St. Peter’s Hospital. She was born in Leonburg, Germany on April 6, 1953 to Anna and Frank Derylak. She migrated with her parents and two siblings to Coltsneck, NJ in 1954. Becoming a wife and loving mother of three. They moved to Florida in 1990. She graduated Nursing School and enjoyed working in the medical field for many years. She retired to NY and became a well known and loved cashier at the Burger King in Clifton Park. 

She is survived by a sister, Aniela Derylak; her oldest daughter Tara Cano-Blocker, her 4 children, Alexis Castro, Sajen Wesley, Zackarey Wesley and Trea Blocker, A son, Steven Timothy Cano, his 5 children, Timothy, Troy, Cameron, Bryce and Vanessa Cano. Her youngest daughter, Tina Elizabeth Davis, and her 3 sons, Michael, Hank and Jethro Davis, as well as many great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-3 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
