Linda Verleger, 75, of Scotia, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by her family at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn in Albany, New York on Friday, January 3, 2025.

 

Born in Troy, New York, Linda was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Beatrice Baldes Verleger and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.

 

Linda was a strong spirited woman, loved her family as well as spending time with both her family and friends. She enjoyed time spent at Sacandaga Lake, the ocean and made the best apple pie, apple sauce and zucchini bread.

 

Linda had been employed by Turner Construction and Towne Towers, prior to her disability.

 

Linda was the mother of David Greene and the late Michael Foster, sister of Bonnie Verleger (late, Karl), Dawn Curry, Debbie Rose, and the late Charles F. Verleger, Jr. and the late David Verleger, grandmother of Jenna Green Beck (Curtis), aunt of Shaun and Rosanna Borden, Raymond Seitz, Alicia Verleger, Anna Wilkinson, David Benjamin Verleger and the late Kyle Seitz, also survived by her cousin Kathy Dinardo, several great nieces and great nephews.

 

Private funeral services have been entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182

 

The family will have a service at a later date.

 

Linda’s family wishes to express the most sincere gratitude to St. Peter’s Hospice Inn for their outstanding care which their words can’t even begin to express.

 

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to Community Hospice, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208, in memory of Linda Verleger.
