Man, talk about a great guy. I'm just seeing this now, knowing that he was vulnerable in the pandemic. My heart hit the floor. Art was so much fun to be around, and even when he was angry he made me smile. My favorite memories include fishing on Lake George (of course), talking sports, talking history (he was truly a historian in his own right, and I learned a ton from him), consuming great wine and food (i.e., when I wasn't preparing it, like a time when I mangled hamburgers on the grill), and gingerly discussing politics from a centrist starting point. Even with 3 daughters, he was such a guy's guy, and I miss him but will never lose the memories. A big late hug to all the family.
