Obituary of Thomas Svendsen

Thomas Svendsen, 81 of Rt. 9 died on Tuesday Aug. 8, 2017.  He was born in Troy, NY and was educated in the Shenendehowa School System.  Thomas was a retired Truck driver, having worked for Wojtowicz Trucking in Halfmoon for over 20 years.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Mohawk Post 1450 in Halfmoon.  An avid hunter and sportsman, Thomas was a also a member of the F & AM  Masonic Lodge.  He was a lifelong Halfmoon resident. 

Devoted father of Alan (Toni) Svendsen of Waterford, Steven (Denise) Svendsen of Stillwater and Debra Ballard of Halfmoon; also survived by 7 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Waterford Rural Cemetery, Waterford, NY
