Obituary of Mattie M. Dorrough

Mattie M. Dorrough, 23, passed away suddenly on Saturday Sept. 24, 2016. She was born on May 19, 1993 at Ellis hospital and was the beloved daughter of Suzanne Crowley and Richard Dorrough. A 2011 high school graduate, Mattie was a loving person who enjoyed the outdoors, hiking in the Adirondack’s and had a huge passion for photography. She saw the beauty through her lens and captured every moment she could. A wild child and a free spirit she loved deeply and put everyone before herself always. In addition to her parents, Mattie is the beloved sister of Chad Dorrough and Molly Dorrough; she is also survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins including her loving uncles Billy Dorrough and Wayne Michael Crowley. She was predeceased by her loving grandma, Barbara Phalen and her loving uncle Wade Crowley. Both of whom meant the world to Mattie. Funeral will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 am in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park. Calling hours will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will be in East Line Cemetery in Malta.
