Obituary of Margaretha Brazee

Margaretha Brazee, 83, passed away Friday February 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of Franz and Anna Zwettler, Margaretha was born in Oppolz, Czechoslovakia in 1934, after WWII her family migrated to Germany where she later met her husband Bill while he was serving in the 11th Airborne Division of the U.S. Army in Munich.

Margaretha loved reminiscing of her life in Germany and telling stories of how she and her husband met. She enjoyed listening to music from her homeland, and seeking treasures at yard sales to share with her friends and family. She often talked about how joyful it was raising her five children and loved every chance she could to spend time with her grandchildren.

Margaretha is survived by her sister, Maria; her beloved husband of 63 years, William Brazze; her five children, Frederick Brazze, Sindy Brazze, Shirley (Paul) Bouchard, Brenda (Robert) Dobie and Dawn (Cory) VanDerwarker; and her cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Woody, Scott, Sondra and Rainee.

The family will gather privately to celebrate her life.
