Obituary of Vincent P. Morawski

Vincent “Butch” P. Morawski, 68, of Dormie Ave. passed peacefully on Friday April 20, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.  He was born on Nov. 14, 1949 in Albany and was the son of the late Vincent P. and Dorothy Matuszek Morawski, Sr.  He was a graduate of Albany High School and was an honorably discharged US Air Force veteran.  Butch had been a supervising manager for the State University of New York at Albany.  He enjoyed camping, summering at Brant Lake in the Adirondack’s with his family and a good campfire.  He was a music enthusiast who enjoyed the guitar.  He was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Ushers.   But most important to Butch was his family.  He is the beloved husband of Dianne Young Morawski, whom he married on May 20, 1972;  the devoted father of Kristopher Morawski and Kimberly (Paul Miller) Morawski;  also survived by his faithful companion “Dewey”. 

Graveside service will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie, NY with the Fr. Rick Lesser, Pastor of Corpus Christi Church in Ushers, officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park, NY 12065.
