Obituary of Hubert J. "J.R." Muckle, Jr.

Hubert J. "J.R." "Junior" Muckle, Jr., 58, formerly of Lansingburgh and Waterford, beloved husband of April Ann Gibson Muckle of Bethlehem, entered into eternal life on Sunday, June 3, 2018.

Born in Cohoes, he was the son of Rita Wagar Muckle, Sr., of Lansingburgh and the late Hubert J. Muckle and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.

"J.R." or "Junior" as he was affectionately known, had been a Driver at Medi-Mobile in Troy and had previously been employed at Portec, National School Bus Company and Oakwood Cemetery.

He loved fishing and hunting.

Beloved husband of over 41 years to April, devoted father of Sarah (Justin) Kilduff of Bethlehem, Roxanne Muckle of Lansingburgh, the late April Sabrina and the late Cody Muckle, brother of Julie (John) Maschia, Donna Muckle, Helen "Lorrie" (Dave) Sheeran, Marilyn (Kim) Muckle and Rita (Mike) Bloomfield, cherished grandfather of Sabrina and Rosie Kilduff and Raine LaBrake and Christopher Rymski, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 and to his Rite of Christian Burial Funeral Service which will be held that evening in the funeral home beginning at 7:00 p.m.
