Obituary of Anne C. Usher (Clements)
Anne C. Usher (formerly Anne Hart), 69, passed to eternal peace on September 12, 2018. Born in Rochester, the daughter of the late Dr. James and Jeanne Clements, Anne is survived by her loving husband of almost 30 years, David Usher, her sons Jeffrey Hart and Joshua Usher, and her siblings Kay Baier and Bill Clements.
Anne will be greatly missed by daughters-in-law, Anna Hart and Elizabeth Hill, granddaughters Valerie, Madeline, and Lacey, and grandsons Brandon and Ethan.
A devout Christian, Anne loved to spend time with God, and all of God’s people in worship, fellowship, and with people He placed in her path. She wasactive in numerous churches over the years, but called Mt. Zion Family Worship Center in GlensFalls her home for the last number of years. Her heart was to stir revival among God’s people everywhere. She was active in Christian support groups and many other ministries designed to help people reach their full potential in Jesus Christ. She and her husband were owners of The Shepherd’s Guide in the 90’s. She was a very sweet and caring person, and will be remembered for her friendly nature, warm smile, great sense of humor, and her unflinchingly positive spirit.
Anne was a graduate of the Albany Medical College PAProgram and served thousands of area residents as a Physician’s Assistant for more than 40 years.
She loved the Northeast summers and spent time in the past at her camp at Plymouth, NY and recently at a lake in Pottersville, NY. Her favorite pastime was floating with friends and family.
A celebration of Anne’s life will be held Monday, September 17. Calling hours are from 6-7pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 63 Mountain View Ave, Colonie with service at 7pm. A fellowship time, with light refreshments follows at 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests three charities: St. Peter’s Hospice Inn, 315 S Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208, Alpha Pregnancy Center, 518 Clinton Ave, Albany, NY 12206, or Our Saviors Lutheran School, 63 Mountain View Ave, Colonie, NY 12205.
