My deepest condolences. Paula was the best. We shared a lot over the years through our Community Hospice experience. I miss her, her energy, her warm heart and her friendship.

I worked with Paula as a Community Hospice volunteer. She was without question the most trustworthy, understanding person one could ever wish for in a "boss" ... always ready to sit down and listen, exchange pleasantries and yet enforce Hospice policy and standards to the max. She was a gem. I am devastated to learn that she no longer walks/bikes the earth.

Please accept my deepest condolences. While I haven't seen Paula in quite a while, I remember her photography and support of the Women's Building. May her memory be for a blessing.

I met Paula on July 4th when Patti was running the Firecracker run. Paula had her camera and planned on taking photos. I knew immediately that she was a warm, loving individual. Patti has been running with our group for many years and she's a delight to have as a friend as well. I was devastated to hear of Paula's passing. My sympathies to Patti and all of her and Paula's friends and family. Patti's running friends love her.

What a perfect photo to head Paula's obituary. That smile that could indicate such a range of thoughts and feelings - the whimsical, the hesitation and then the choice to share deeply, the simple fun and enjoyment of life, the invitation to join her on an adventure... And, those eyes - the eyes of one who sees what most others both do and, especially, what we don't. I cherish my memories of times with Paula and am quietly thrilled to have a photgraph she created and framed of steps into the sea and out into the summer evening sky. Infinite! I'm sure Paula resides there now ... peace.

I was very sorry to learn of Paula's passing. I wish our paths had crossed in thew intervening years.
I knew her for a short time while she was attending SUNY Cortland. I met Paula when she was working Sports for the Troy Record and I was the desk clerk at the Schenectady Racquet Club. For our first "date," we played tennis! Whenever we went anywhere we heard, "Paul and Paula, that's easy to remember!"
My memories of Paula; her athleticism (she crushed me at tennis), her compassion, her love of photography and her friendship.
My sympathy to her family and friends, and her dogs too.

I am so sorry to hear about Paula's passing. I played softball and golf with Paula back in the seventies and we became good friends. I haven't seen her in several years, but I never forgot her. May she rest in peace.

Shocked and saddened to read of Paula's passing. I met Paula way back in high school. I went to Notre Dame HS in Schenectady and our sports teams would always play against Keveny Acadamy. Keveny was one of my favorite "foes". The girls there were so nice and fun to be around. I met Paula while playing tennis and she and I would always talk each time our teams played each other. That was in 1973-74 and I have always remembered her because she was so funny. She always had some far fetched story to tell me and she left me wondering whether she was pulling my leg or telling the truth. I never knew.
Paula was such an individual. Outgoing and funny. I was happy to read about all her accomplishments and all the people that she has touched. It seems that she lived a full life yet way too short.
To the family and friends, I am terribly sorry for your loss. God bless you all and God bless Paula. She made an everlasting impression on me and I share your sorrow.

I met Paula 20 years ago when I photographed her sister Kate’s wedding. We reconnected a few years later when I became a professional customer of Photo Images. She always greeted you with a smile, was helpful and would go the extra mile to help others. We shared a passion for photography, cycling, and our little wiener dogs, always sharing their antics. She was truly an angel in earth, one in a million.

I met Paula through my work at Hospice Inn; and ironically enough; she and I both realized that one of Paula's treasured volunteers, Janis Donofrio, was my sister. Paula captured the hearts of us all (my older sister, Anne and my two daughters, Jessie and Sarah) and I instantly felt the compassion, sense of fun and devotion to "causes" radiating from her. I was looking forward to getting together with her after her return from her vacation to the Cape to chat about my sister, Janis, who also passed away in May--- Paula was a tremendous source of comfort, support and "rock" for my sister as she went through the process to the "other side". I will be forever grateful to her for helping Janis transition from this world. Ironic that she and Paula will again be together "working" whatever spiritual purpose is to be done now on another "dimension". What a special lady and one that will be SO missed by all who knew her. My heart goes out to her family; her partner, her beloved "babies/dogs"! Beth

I have so many memories I don't think I could pick just one, from the minute I walked through the doors of Photo Images who knew I would have a dear friend for life, my photography Yoda, a volunteer when she was just stopping by for a hello hug, the laughs, the fun, the tears, all memories that I wrap in my heart and cherish from my dearest and true friend Paula, life was better with her in mine!
