Obituary of Gary E. Kuczek
Gary Edward Kuczek, 75, of Hagaman, formerly of Grafton, beloved husband for over 30 years to Suzanne M. Farrell Kuczek of Hagaman, unexpectedly entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 10, 2019.
Born in Auburn, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony Kuczek and the late Ethel DeMont Jones and was a graduate of Auburn High School. Gary then served in the U.S. Air Force having received his Honorable Discharge.
An independent businessman for most of his life, Gary owned and operated Enterprise Entertainment in Grafton for 10 years as well as CYA Video in Clifton Park for 20 years. He had previously served as the Retail Sales Manager at J.R. Sousa Oil, Inc. in Green Island. Gary also enjoyed the camaraderie of his fellow car jockeys at Enterprise Holdings in Latham for nearly the past five years.
Gary loved the movies, was a true movie buff with his favorite movie having been Pulp Fiction and had become a huge fan of Chicago PD since its first season. He would say that he had a diversified love of music which included the Oldies and Elvis. Gary was also a true pet lover, having had dogs and various pets.
In addition to his beloved wife Suzanne of over 30 years, Gary is the devoted father of Shane (Tammy Potvin-Kuczek) Kuczek of Gansevoort and Joan (Richard) Diaz of Portland, TX, cherished “Grandpa” of Jessica and Alexandria Pincheon, dear son-in-law of Mary F. Farrell of Grafton and the late Charles D. “Chuck” Farrell, loving brother-in-law of Karen (John) Bryant of Grafton and Charles “Butch” (Margie) Farrell of Grafton, also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Gary’s Military Honors and the Rite of Committal services which will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, New York 12871.(Those attending are asked to please gather between 12:35 p.m. and 12:55 p.m. on the right side of the cemetery boulevard as you enter the cemetery and the funeral will process together at 1:00 p.m. to the shelter area where the service will take place.) There will be no public calling hours.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204, in memory of Gary E. Kuczek.
