Obituary of Herman H. Conoway
Herman H. Conoway, 89, of Fairway Drive died on Thursday Jan. 17, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Georgetown, DE on July 2, 1929 and was the son of the late Olin and Olivette Moore Conaway. He retired as a stock broker from RBC Dain Rauscher in Schenectady after more than 30 years. Herman was the beloved husband of the late Betty Jane Dykes Conoway who died on June 23, 1987. He was a longtime member of Shenendehowa United Methodist Church in Clifton Park, NY. Herman is the devoted father of Mark H. (Danelle) Conoway of Staten Island, NY, Anne Conoway of Hull, MA and the late Matthew H. Conoway; cherished grandfather of Shaina Eve Conoway, Leila Blue Conoway and Elijah Broderick. He is also survived by his longtime companion Alice JoAnne Clearwater, his brother Preston (Arlene) Conaway of Laurel, DE and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday January 24th at Shenendehowa United Methodist Church, 971 Route 146 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
Interment and graveside services will be held on Tuesday January 22nd at 1:00 p.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel, DE.
Contributions in lieu of flowers to Shenendehowa United Methodist Church, 971 RT-146, Clifton Park 12065 or to Albany Medical Center, Parkinson's Disease Research Fund, 47 New Scotland Ave, Mail Code 70, Albany NY 12208, in memory of Herman H. Conoway.
