John, Tammy and Stephanie Henson posted a condolence

We are all so very sorry to hear the sad news about Mr. Chet. We loved him so! Stephanie is so very glad that he can take care of Kona, Clyde and Bonnie now. Who can ever forget him bringing over gallons of ice cream for the children’s dinner! The mayor of the court may be missing but we are sure he is still watching over all of us from above. Sending all our hugs your way...

My condolences to Chet's family. I was in Chet's high school class and kept up news about him through the Donks from Cohoes over the years as I didn't live in the Cohoes area for many years. Chet was a lot of fun and I hadn't seen him for many years until the 50's Cohoes High School reunion several years back. Was good to see that he was still the same guy.I remembered the days when he was a life guard at Carlson's pool and in the winter skating there

Harold and Henny O’Grady posted a condolence
Sunday, March 31, 2019
Chet Stone was a longtime friend of Harold and his brothers from the 1950’s. They lived near each other, went to the same high school and shared many happy times at Carlson’s swimming pool and ice rink in Cohoes. Chet introduced Harold to Henny at a summer camping trip to Lake George. We often joked about him being responsible for that union. We remained friends over the years while he and Pat raised their family and we raised ours. We, along with several of his former neighborhood buddies, often got together for lunch. If you needed a friend, Chet was there. He remembered his old friends over the years and they in turn remembered him as well. Our sincerest sympathy to Pat and his cherished family.
