Carrie Theobald

Obituary of Carrie Louise Theobald

Carrie Louise Theobald, 48, of  Ballston Spa and formerly of the State of  Florida died suddenly on March 28, 2019 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.  She was born on May 18, 1970 in South Amboy, NJ and was the daughter of Elizabeth T. Bayer and the late Carl Theobald.  Carrie had worked for many years in the hospitality industry.  She enjoyed painting, doing crafts, re-doing furniture and had an impressive elephant collection.  Unknowingly to the family Carrie was a register organ donor. Because of her selfless act Carrie was able to give the gift of life to three organ recipients.  Her liver and kidneys have been donated to three individuals who will live on to be with their love ones because of Carrie Theobald’s generosity.

The sole love of her life was her beautiful daughter, Leah Anderson, who was her everything. Leah is a courageous young lady that stood by her mother’s side throughout the entire organ donation process.

In addition to her mother and daughter, she is survived by her brothers,  Michael Theobald of Tarpon Springs, FL and David (Susan) Theobald of Ballston Lake, NY; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be in the future in Florida.

Please consider giving the gift of life like Carrie and become a registered organ donor today by visiting the Center for Donation and Transplant New York- Vermont https://www.cdtny.org/
