Dear Family of Alfred J. Ellis,
I am so sorry for your loss. I understand how hard it must be right now. I never really got the chance to know Alfred but he seemed to be a genuinely good man. In times like these one scripture comes to mind and that is Acts 24:15. It states "and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked". Our heavenly God promises us that He will resurrect those that we lost in death. I would love to recommend the website JW.org which utilizes the Holy Scriptures to explain more about the resurrection as well as God's other promises for the future. Once again I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope you find comfort in these words.
Love,
Sara

I have fond memories of Fr Al while he was here at CarthageNY. I worked with him as a member of Augustinian Academy school board. I pray that God will grant him eternal rest.

Fr. Ellis was a brilliant, kind man whose devotion to God was apparent to all who miss him. St. Augustine’s Church and School were very fortunate to have him for the years he was stationed in Troy. RIP Fr. Al.
