Inge was my best friend. I have stored memories of all the many things we have done together over the last 15 years. We spent a lot of time together on walks, working together, and on excursions throughout this region of the State. These shared experiences are the most treasured and genuine of my life. They touched me to my core, and that is where I will keep them as long as I live. I explained this to Inge and told her that nothing can really separate friends.

Aino and family, I am very sad to hear this news but pleased to hear that Inge had an amazing satisfying life of her choosing. Good for her. Not everyone can say that. All we can ask when we leave this earth is that we be remembered for our Legacy and that she definitely will be.

Anne and family, I am so sorry that you lost Inge a family member. I remember her in college when visiting Ann at her home. Also, we met at Ann's other home near Albany. She was a talented and highly achieved woman. Again, I am sorry for your loss to your family.

We were very sorry to hear of Inge’s passing and wanted to share some of the things that, having had a chance to know her over the past several years, we are most thankful for and will always remember.
We are thankful that we were able to spend time with her on walks and local excursions which she often cleverly planned - while being outdoors and learning about the things that she knew and remembered from the area. Inge’s love of nature, the backroads, and all of the local culture was inspirational – whether it was learning about her amazing gardens at home, hiking cliffs or visiting historic sites – we always enjoyed the times we spent with her.
We are especially thankful for her friendship with my father, as the two of them really enjoyed sharing conversation, the occasional quibble, and spending time together. We feel so fortunate to have been able to share so many outings and occasions with her while visiting him. We always found her to be so welcoming and open and happy to be involved in an array of different things – breakfast at Snyder’s, cooking a small meal together or a large family picnic (her Bocce skills were intimidating, to say the least). We know that she leaves an irreplaceable space in that community and will be greatly missed.
We are so glad that we were able to spend as much time as we were over the past summer on our visit. Though we never had the pleasure of meeting Conor or her family, we know from our conversations how much she enjoyed telling us about you all. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and we hope that you find comfort in the knowledge that she touched everyone she met deeply. We will miss her.

Dear Inge,
From now on, all the moments we shared, will turn into strings of spiritual connection, and instead of missing you, I will rejoice, for the luck of having you in my life. My prayers are with Connor and your family.
