Obituary of Kerrianne Gardner-Dixit

Dateline: Catskill, New York Kerrianne Gardner-Dixit, 42, of Country Club Estates in Catskill died on Sunday Nov. 27, 2016 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. She was born on June 20, 1974 in Poughkeepsie, NY and was the beloved daughter of Ralph and Marie Gardiner Gardner. She graduated with her BA from John Jay University in NYC and her Master’s Degree from the University of Chicago. She was a substance abuse counselor working for the Twin County Recovery Services in Hudson, NY. Kerrianne served her internship with the Greene Haven Correctional facility. She had a great love of family, especially her two children, Gavin and Maya. She was known as the pillar in the family for her strength. She is the beloved wife of Chandra Dixit; devoted and much loved mommy to Gavin and Maya; dear sister of Jacqueline M. Gardner of Poughkeepsie, NY and Melissa B. Gardner-Maillet of Stuyvesant, NY; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday Nov. 29, 2016 from 6-8 pm in the Traver-McCurry Funeral Home, 234 Jefferson Heights Catskill, NY 12414. The Christian funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm in the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Gardner Earl Chapel, 186 Oakwood Ave. Troy, NY 12182.
