Obituary of Rosemarie Sweener

 

Rosemarie Sweener, 52, beloved wife of Nelson W. Sweener, Jr. of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 28, 2019.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dolores Kelly Herald and was a graduate of Berlin High School.

Rosemarie was a dedicated caregiver and had been a Home Health Aide at Kimberly Quality Care in Albany.

Rosemarie loved to crochet and do crafts.

Being a loving wife, mother, grandmother as well as being like a second mother to several of her nieces and nephews is what she loved the most.

Beloved wife of Nelson W. Sweener, Jr., of Troy, devoted mother and mother-in-law of William J. (Alice) Sweener, Sr. of Troy, loving sister of Kimberly Margaret Barnett of Troy, cherished “Nana” of Breanna, Lexi, Zachary and the late William Sweener, Jr., also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc.,

565 Fourth Avenue (corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 on Friday from

12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. and to her Funeral Service which will begin that afternoon in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to American Lung Association, Donation Processing Center, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620, in memory of Rosemarie Sweener.
