Obituary of Crawford M. Lattimore

Crawford M. Lattimore, 90 of Eastover Road, beloved husband of the late Doris M. Mulligan Lattimore, entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Born in Cohoes, he is the son of Paul and Mildred Wagner Lattimore. Crawford served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He served on the Destroyer U.S.S. Hickox #673 in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and the Philippine Liberation as Petty Officer 3d class Watertender. He was employed by the Berh-Manning and Norton Company. He retired from the Norton Company after 41 years of service, retiring in 1987, also longtime employee of Barrett Blacktop. Crawford is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Lansingburgh, Inc. and the Tin Can Sailors Association. he also is a Plank owner of the Destroyer U.S.S. Hickox DD 673 and is a member of the Norton's Retiree Club, the Elk's Club, and the Speigletown Elders, and the former St. Bonaventure's Men's Club. Devoted father of James P. Lattimore, Edmund G. (Maurie) Lattimore and Debra Lattimore and the late Jack M. Lattimore, his siblings; the late Paul Lattimore, George Lattimor, Beverly Hansen and Mildred (Sissy) St. Orange, svene grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., Corner of 115th Street and Fourth Avenue) in Lansingburgh on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial with military Honors will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
