Obituary of Michael M. Boutrin

Michael M. “Mikey” Boutrin, 35, of Lansingburgh, beloved husband of Jennifer L. Morse of Lansingburgh, peacefully entered into eternal life in the comfort of his own home in the loving comfort and care of his wife on Sunday, December 1, 2019, following a courageous battle with cancer.

 

Born in Georgetown, Guyana, Michael is the son of Alfred Boutrin and Lottie Dicky Boutrin, both of Brooklyn. He received his GED and attended ITT TECH

 

Affectionately known as Mikey to his family and friends, he was the proud “Daddy” of Matthias Boutrin (7) and Natilee Boutrin (5).

 

Mikey had been employed at Price Chopper for 16 years. Mikey worked in almost every Price Chopper in the capital district. Mikey was very proud of this and made lasting connections and friendships in every store he worked in. During Mike's career he held various positions most recently his store was in Niskayuna, where he served as the Dairy Manager.

 

Mikey loved all sports, especially football and basketball he was a loyal fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Sacramento Kings. Mikey was a very sharp dresser, he loved to get dressed up in his sneakers, matching hoodie and straight brimmed hats. Mikey was a wealth of knowledge about sports, it was a true passion. What he loved the most was spending time with Matthias, Natilee and Jennifer making so many memories on their numerous trips and vacations which they will cherish forever. Mikey never met a stranger and was a gift to all that had the pleasure of knowing him. A true angel on earth.

 

In addition to his wife Jennifer, children; Matthias and Natilee and his parents, Alfred and Lottie, Mikey is the brother of Rensford Boutrin of Guyana, Tricia (Jonny) Boutrin of Albany, NY, Alexis Boutrin of Orlando, FL, the late Simeon Allen, Steven (Seba) Allen of Las Vegas, NV, Shaun Allen and Sheena Allen, both of Brooklyn, lifetime friend since childhood; Sade Polynice of Brooklyn, NY, son-in-law of Bonnie and Phillip Morse, Sr. of Arlington, VT, brother-in-law of Anthony (Lori) Morse of Lancaster, NH, Jason (Nicole) Morse, Mary Morse and Phillip (Heather) Morse, Jr., all of Arlington,VT and Elizabeth “Beth” Morse of Danby, VT, special uncle of Hogan Noyes of Arlington, VT and Althia Boutrin of Albany, NY, also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.

 

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc, 565 Fourth Ave (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and to his Celebration of Life Service which will follow in the funeral home that day beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will then follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.

 

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions made payable to Natilee Boutrin and Matthias Boutrin at any Key Bank Location, in memory of Michael M. Boutrin.
