Obituary of Leonard B. Hotchkiss, Jr.

Leonard B. Hotchkiss, Jr., 93, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Leonard B. and Thelma Jennings Hotchkiss and the beloved husband for over 69 years to Corinna Finley Hotchkiss of Clifton Park, NY. He earned his BS in Chemistry. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II having served in Panama. Mr. Hotchkiss had been owner and operator of Mohawk Labels in Clifton Park and retired after many years of being employed at Behr-Manning (Norton Company) in Watervliet, NY. Beloved husband of Corinna, devoted father of James Thomas Hotchkiss (deceased), Barbara Anne Hotchkiss (John Paulson) of Columbus, OH, and Karen E. Mancone (Silvio) of Virginia Beach, VA, cherished Papa of Giuseppe, Angelica and Silvio Mancone, Thomas and Rose Paulson. He was predeceased by two sisters; Anne DeBolt and Emily Quinn Pou. Graveside service with military honors will be held in Oakwood Cemetery (for GPS directions use 186 Oakwood Avenue, Troy, NY 12182) on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 12 Noon. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick Street, Troy, NY 12180. Phone (518) 272-3930.
